The abbreviation SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Basically, an SEO is a method which includes various ways and techniques through which a company can increase the number of visitors on their website. Also, it helps in achieving a higher ranking in the search results panel of any search engine (SERP), some of which include: Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.

Methods of SEO

·         Get indexed

The top search engines, such as Google, use crawlers to search pages for the results of their algorithmic search. Hyperlinked pages with the indexed pages of other search engines are not supposed to be submitted as they can be automatically found. This is how they get indexed.

·         Avoid crawling

To avoid unnecessary content in the indexes of search, webmasters usually instruct spiders so that they must not crawl on some of the directories or files by a file called- the standard robots.txt file, In order to prevent crawling.

·         Increase eminence

A lot of methods increase the eminence of a webpage within the panel of search results. 

Cross linking the pages of a website to give more links to essential pages usually enhances its visibility.

Putting content that has often searched keyword sentences, in order to be relatable to a versatile way of search questions helps increasing traffic.

Techniques

There are 2 ways in which SEO is categorized. They are:

·         White hat SEO: An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) technique is said to be White Hat SEO If it adapts to the guidelines of search engine, and has no imposition.. As usually, the search engine instructions are not pointed down as an order of commands or rules.

·         Black hat SEO: it aims to enhance rankings in styles that are not approved by search engines, or include deception. Black hat procedure uses text that isn’t revealed; either the text is colored just like the background, in some hidden div, or kept off screen.
